Hi!
Just when I start to type, I see a jumping spider on the computer screen.
I'd like to bid you all adieu.
Spiders freak me out.

don't know what to call this
HI EVERYONE,
It has been a while (I always start posts like this now). And I have been extremely busy working. And studying.
I lie. Only the second part though, because I have been working hard at work :/ Exams, birthdays, good television, the world cup and busy season are coming up ALL AT ONCE. It's just too much to take in.
I shall begin this post with how I am. I am fine. Crazy tired, but fine I think. My mornings begin at 6.30 and I am usually stuck in traffic for ages. It takes me about 15 minutes to get out of my suburb because the freaking road is always jammed up. However, I reach my destination at Homebush/Auburn (my second home nowadays) before everyone else on my team.
People often wonder what I do at work. Everyone assumes it's just photocopying and making coffee rounds at my age- BUT NO! (well, sometimes.) I do my fair share of going through financial material and face to face time with scary clients. I have to say, it's a part of my work I really don't like. Having to treat rude people nicely. But apart from that, being stuck in a room for hours and hours a day with a bunch of funny accountants is probably one of the least boring jobs ever.
Lunch time starts anywhere between 12.30- 2pm and it's agonising. My senior says "okay, let's go to lunch!", the rest of us respond "yes finally", but no one moves and it's just EXCRUCIATING. >:(
I usually leave work at 6.30 when I'm at Homebush to avoid traffic on the M4 on my way home. I get home at around 7:05ish and that's when I can start acting stupid and lazy and eat dinner for ages.
Then, I sit infront of the television and vegetate.
It is the life. I cannot wait until I have finished my degree at uni, and when I've completed the CA program. Then I can finally go on my secondment and say goodbye to Sydney for a year or so and come back armed with another fluent language.
Uni is boring. It has been more interesting since I found out a guy from work is actually in my accounting tute. Hilarious. We sat through 9 or so tutes together without realising we worked in the very same building. Last week's accounting tute was more enjoyable, needless to say.
Oh, my Ipod Touch has become my favourite play thing and I'm more hooked onto it than the internet itself. It is so versatile. It wakes me up in the morning. It plays my favourite tunes (or in my case, the music my sister put into my Ipod for me), it entertains me on the train with games and episodes of family guy, I log into the free Unwired net in world square and I spent Saturday mornings in bed with my Ipod catching up on my youtube subs.
My ex-favourite device, my camera has gone missing for eternity and I am too cheap to buy a new one. Why? Because I'm saving up for a car. A car which will allow me to plug in my Ipod and play my favourite tunes on my way to work/ fun.
Yes. I cannot wait until I get my Ps/car because I'll finally be able to get to all the hole-y places my bestest friends live in with ease. Just a word of warning. I will NEVER be the designated driver because I DO NOT WANT PEOPLE THROWING UP IN MY CAR >:(
Digressing from talk of the future, I'd like to mention that
HOLY CRAP I'M MISSING THE STATE OF ORIGIN. I DIDN'T EVEN REALISE.
BLOG LATER HAHAHA BYE GUYS HOPE TO SEE YOU SOON!

Pre-trip Frustration: Customer Service
Currently hating on the Legion cab phone operators. NOT ONCE have I ever been in contact with a nice and polite phone operator. Everytime I get off the phone with one, I feel like swearing my head off and throwing myself off a building because people are so darn rude to strangers. The money I pay for the taxi goes into your bloody wages so treat me with the proper respect I deserve.
Instead of saying "I can spell", "I know how to spell", "you don't need to spell it out for me", perhaps you can just shut the hell up and listen to me spell the name of my street so you don't keep getting it wrong.
The veins in my neck feel like they're going to explode. What makes it worse is that she hung up on me.
!@#$^&*(@##!
Apparently one of the guys I work with had a chauffeur. I wish I was him right now >:( I'd be sure that my ride would turn up for sure >:( >:( >:(
SIGHSIGHSIGH I hope they have the same tv programs in Canberra. I doubt they do. :( Please go on fb chat tomorrow night if you don't have exams. To those that do, study hard and good luck.

Amazing Race
Righteo. This week I've been going to training with the grads and cadets at work (btw, this reminds me. Applications for cadetships will be released online soon so if interested start looking/planning). Today, one of our activities was a team building event- the Amazing Race. I think I can sum it up in a few quick bullet points. (It is nearly 12 and way past my new bedtime. lol)
- From CQ we ran to the Harbour Bridge and sprinted up the stairs to Pylon lookout. When we thought we finally came to the end, we were greeted with more stairs. At this point, many people from our team decided to slack off and so myself and someone else were left to do the rest of the sprinting. When we reached the top we had to do one of those "find Bin Laden" picture puzzles. :S So weird.
- Had to find a woman in a beige jacket, jeans and black boots "within the walls of the QVB". This was hilarious. There were quite a few women who fit the profile. I felt bad for harassing the ones who were wearing the wrong clothes at the wrongtime. :(
- Running back to the training centre, finding out we were first to arrive having completed all the tasks, but to have come SECOND?! lol
Moving onto something else, if I pass probation this week, I'll be on my way to Canberra on Monday morning for some work. It will be quite an experience. I've never been on a domestic flight before. But I hope alot of these will come my way. I just wish it was Melbourne instead. :) But yes, I hope that does answer some questions you guys might have. :S I think I caused alot of confusion on facebook because my messages on fb are taken out of context, etc.
What else... This week has been filled with ups and downs. :S At the moment I just feel PAINED. Physically. I can't do this. I'm too old for this
Have a nice week guys =) The weekend is coming soon.
BTW. Weenz uses fb now. LOL

City rail woes
Hi all,
I say this in all my posts nowadays, but I feel like I haven't blogged in ages. I wanted to this evening when I was on the train home, BUT I COULDN'T!
Why? Because a nasty man made my phone fly outta my hand this morning, through the closing train doors, into the dark crevasse known as the gap between the train and the platform. OMFG. I was in the train. and I was crying inside.
because the train was moving away from Central towards St James.
Moving onto other news which is not really new, JOSEPH HAS MOVED in cyberspace. But I think you all knew that anyway. I'm just extremely busy tardy now. Wish I wasn't but I am a crazy woman in a suit so I can say whatever I want.
We have a netball day at work on saturday this week. lol So I'll probably eat ramen on SUNDAY. Is Menya all good in Haymarket? If not, I'll be at Kura.
Yes. :)
Any ugly train stories? Share, SHARE! To make me feel better now.
