Just hopped in a cab home bound. Finished late again tonight an had t/a from chat Thai for dinner. It was chat, and not blog worthy so yerrr.

I treat my blog like twitter :/ do you guys mind excessive posting? I want to share a bit of my corporate life before I head back to uni :)

Insanity

Last night's game was insane!

I tried to stay up to see the whole match but sleep won me over in the end. I missed the final set. Woke up early to scan the news for any highlights from last night before heading to work. Zzz. Another week of work.

Nearly feb. there's less than a month before I finish up at work and start a new semester of uni. :D

Happy weekend dudes :)

It was dinner for one tonight bcos I wanted to watch the tennis. Chopped up potatoes, carrots, tomatoes and sweet corn to make my face stew. Chucked in a handful of pasta and made a fresh batch of rice (+ hulls) and voila! Easy meal.

Kill me now. Would have been ok if I were enrolled today, but I'm not- that's not till Wednesday.

Monday = worst day for public transport.

Nothing like a sample pack of Cheerios to make my arvo more crunchy an exciting.

I like being in charge. I was in charge today and determined what time everyone was leaving today. Because of this I am on the bus home right now. Woohoo!

Bus lanes are magnificent! Woohoo! Wish I went to Macq uni. I'd save so much time travelling each day. 9am starts would be more bearable. I'd also save a fortune from not buying my morning coffee from the super expensive campus cafe.

My vegan diet is working well so far. Controlled my meat consumption at churrasco on Saturday so all is forgiven. I'm back to eating complete green salads for lunch. So happy.

I'm on the hunt for a camera again. Even though I'm on a tight budget I'm thinking of getting a canon powershot. M wants a point and shoot so I was thinking of giving her my current one (which is never in my possession anyway. It's been overseas for the past 3 months) and buying a nicer one for moi. I figured that I'd have time this year to learn to use a camera properly.

I also need to invest in a coffee machine. I spend about $50 on coffee every month- plus a jar of instant every month, a years worth if coffee money would get me a nice nespresso machine + milk frother.

Worth it? There are always extra expenses (pods and maintenance..) so I'm a bit hesitant, it's so expensive!!

Oh man. Come to think if it, I need to spend alot these few months:

- driving instructor
- few pairs of shoes
- a new beach towel
- a car lol
- new hair!
- phone bill
- new router
- credit card bill

Which reminds me, I have about 700$ of expenses to claim from work. Grr. So much money right there.

I'm gonna be such a miser next year. Be prepared for lots of money talk!

Last week

Had a busy week but got to see a few of my fave people and do a few of my fave things. Same thing this week I hope. Farewell dinner for Lucinda Gayo on Tues, chilling w hs friends on Friday :3 , welcome back dinner on Saturday and seeing the ballet on Sunday! Hope the rain clears up! I want to make the most of Sydney festival :)

Ok.

I'm 9 days late.

But I have an excuse.

I've been on holiday. Really. Enjoying the last few days of bliss before the hellish busy season at work commences.

And, I am running out of time. In about 6 hours, my first alarm will go off and my day will officially begin.

But I will be happy.

Happy knowing that I have bough pre-season tickets to see Love Never Dies at Capitol Theatre on Wednesday night.

Yes, this Wednesday night.

2 musicals in 2 weeks? I think so!

But yeah, I'm freaking out about work.

Welcome back productivity!


PS. Weird-ish thought: Got an invite for a friend's 21st. I'm honoured because I haven't seen her in years (4 to be precise), and she's only invited her "close" buds. Yeaah, I don't know if I've accidentally been invited, because if I turned up, that'd be weird. :/  Ok. Enough of my third world problems.

Seafood Paella. Can't believe this, but we didn't look at the restaurant's name. It looked like a cafe, and we just went in. :/

 And I'll leave you with a pic of a happy flower I found in my front yard one day. I'm glad I snapped a shot, because when I came home that same day, it was GONE. M snipped it off and put it in a glass of water. It wilted and died by evening :(
