Mortified. A link to a forum has been circulating around my friends this arvo.
Some guy/girl has been posting up photos of girls (named) on a thread in a (so so seedy) forum.
Wtf. It hit close to home because I know a few of them. WHAT THE FARK BRO.
HIDE YOUR PHOTOS KIDS. :( and don't upload bikini/beach photos on fb. :( even if you do have a great bod.

the problem with facebook

Quietly enjoyment
WHT:
Class - literally learned nothing because for the first time this semester I didn't listen or pay attention because the guy we had this week was the worlds worst talker.
Sunbathe- if it wasnt for the fact it was on a uni campus, tanning would have been a good activity today.
Charlie Lovett- caught up with my old uni crew :'( didn't realise how much I missed having classes with them until we talked about the old days today. It's so different with friends at uni. Maybe I just feel insecure without a 'group' of friends here. By that, I mean forming a group (y'knowwhatimean) from scratch, seeing them during all your breaks, usually having the same classes... Etc. I have friends in each of my classes, but no main group? Sounds really trivial but I guess it's a harder transition that I thought it would be. Yeah, today i wasn't a pretty sight. When I was talking to N and K over coffee, every 3-5 mins I'd break down "boohoo I miss you guys so much". Don't know why, but it's comforting to see they haven't changed much.
Caysorn- went to a Thai restaurant for dinner and had a satisfying (but spicy) meal. The tears, snot and constant saliva is a pretty good indication of how um extremely incompetent I am at eating spicy stuff. No pics because my phone was on dangerously low battery life. I should have camped at the campus apple store to recharge. Another good catch up (always a good catch up) mostly about grad offers (grats to all those who have secures positions- im so jealous you graduate so soon!) and the crazy psychometric and interview processes involved. We're growing up. In 2-3 years most of us will probs be out there earnin' and churnin'. So fast :(
Thanks to everyone that I saw today. Today's been awesome and I'm too content to sleep D:

i just need to get these useless facts off my mind.
Two things I noticed:
- Chem building toilets are festy. Out of the 3 cubicles, there is only one relatively safe one to use. By safe, I mean no ginormous cracks/half the seat missing...
- I was in chinatown on the weekend and couldn't help but notice so many girls dressed like boys. Is it fashionable now? To be honest, I didn't notice at all in the beginning. The glass shattered when I was down the escalator and the asian couple standing infront of me broke into girly fits of laughter. From behind (or frankly, even from the front) you can hardly tell the guy is actually a girl. I could only tell from her voice. Heck, they dress so much nicer than guys. So confusing now.
I need a hobby. I need a hobby that I can tell people about without receiving weird looks.
A year ago I was preparing for my trip down to Melb. Easter is not exactly the best time to vacay at a biggish city. Most things are closed including museums and retailers. Currently researching snow packages. Has anyone skiied in nz before? I know NOTHING about nz. :(

domestics
WHT:
Didn't get into bed until 8am. Ha yeah. 8am. Got up in the arvo for some arvo tea - hk style with the fam. Left them and sat in a cafe with A until they closed. Coffee + brownie over virtually no conversation because we were being intellectual and reading the paper! It kinda felt like an 'old' moment. Like something you would do after you're married, and your kids are all grown up, and you're semi retired.
Then headed into the office and did my printing. Nothing's changed. The hotdesk area is still filthy as (half eaten apple pie on the table and beer bottle under the table...) and I wrestled with the photocopier for a good 15 mins at least.
Had jap for dinner, then chinese for second dinner, the tw shaolin place in dixon for dessert and was homebound after that.
The cleaning commenced shortly upon arriving home. I only started cleaning so I could find my loose button box. I've been accumulating loose buttons (from new clothes or just stray ones on the floor) for the past few weeks since we shifted the furniture in my bedroom.
Excuse all the censoring. Don't worry, it's not anything inappropriate - just work related stuff.
PS. I love this so much. I think the lyrics and the music matches so well. Wish I could play piano!

Subtle jab?
Saw this in the paper and lol-ed. Unfortunately for me, I was in the process of swallowing my drink and gagged. Got it all over myself and I still smell like coffee now.
Australian television is totes amaze.

Another visit - Kasumi Izakaya
These photos are from a good few weeks ago. I've been tardy with uploading food pics- cant even remember what they're called anymore.
All I remember is everything was über tiny. The pasta, the seafood (mini calamari, mini okra, mini mussels), and unfortunately the portions too. Tastes nice as expected though.
If you're hungry, don't go to Kasumi. Kasumi's all about aesthetics, and catching up with friends a cocktail (they have a large LARGE RANGE).

damn this transfer
OHMIGOD I WANT TO KILL SOMEONE.
I can't go on exchange because I only have 2 elective subjects I can do in my course after completing both my accounting and finance majors. Apparently at this uni, you have to be doing 4 elective subjects overseas.
Sad times. Contemplating overloading + summer/winter school now.
According to sydney, my marketing and management & organisation subjects were counted as electives already. What BS.
I guess I will be going on a massive overseas trip after I graduate. So gutted.

Family rant - Expectations
Maybe it's just my family, but my parents keep talking about grandkids.
For those of you who don't know me (hello readers from indo!), I'm not even 21 yet.
It really freaks me out sometimes and I wish they would stop.
Another thing they do is ask about my relationships all the time. ALL THE TIME. Friends, I'm positive I'm not the only one - I remember a group of us talking about how frustrating it was. Honestly, I'll tell you when I figure it all out. GRAHRAHRHAR. And when I talk to my relos on the phone the conversation usually flows like this:
X: Have you had dinner yet?
B: Yes, it is almost midnight here.
X: Oh that's right, I always forget! How are you? Busy all the time?
B: Yeah pretty busy.
X: Always meeting your different boyfriends?
...?
Why do relatives think it's ok to two time? No actually, why do they think I'm a two-timer?
This is such a frustrated post. I feel like my veins in my neck are poking out.

I packed lunch
You can sorta see my 4 seed buns with roasted chicken, mesclun salad, cucumber, with smokey BBQ sauce in the background.
I like my sandwiches waterproof. So, starting from the bottom, I have the: bun - buttered, layers of baby leaves (NO PARSLEY THAT STUFF IS NASTY), cucumbers, chicken, BBQ sauce, quick sprinkle of pepper and salt, more leaves and the top part of the bun (buttered also). I hate having half arsed lunches. If I make a sandwich, it can't just be no ham n' cheese. NO WAY. Gotta start by cooking the chicken.
In primary school m always packed me half arsed lunches. A slice of tomato with ham on non buttered white bread. NO!!! Needless to say by the time I got to school, it was all soggy and gross.
I love tomato and beetroot. But I don't like including them in my sandwiches unless I'm eating it immediately. I've been told to bring my food and prepare it before I eat it at work/uni but I don't enjoy that. Lunch time is that 1 hour where you can focus on your delicious food. If you spend half the time preparing, you'll only get half the time to indulge in your sandwich!
Oh boy. I started this post with the pure intention of showing you guys my grapes but I went on a full blown sandwich talk rampage.
PS, iPhones own. That grape photo looks mighty fine.
PPS. @bleb & chezza: how good was our catch up today? If we hadn't talked about those things I would have forgotten about them completely. Stretching back YEARS!! I'm glad I get to see you guys alot more now! 😊

move over, meat!
See, I'm not the only one. It works!
I am being a total hypocrite through, as I had a rack of ribs for dinner at Tony Roma's tonight.
So, transferring uni's is exactly what I thought it would be. A huge hassle. I don't know what else to say. I guess being the new kid isn't as fun as I imagined. Full time uni has totally whacked my sleeping schedule/rhythm. I sleep at around 3am everyday and roll out of bed way after 9 on weekdays and after 11 on weekends. Disgusting, I know.
PS. Hi Jono if you remembered my web address. Hope you don't. :(
PPS. Isn't it ridiculous the amount of info I have available to the public?

A good feed
Something about the burning meat on the metal grid is so appealing.
Since I started cutting meat out of my diet I'm getting crazier and crazier when im on my off days. I order heaps and heaps of meat to basically make up for my vego days.
My original plan is backfiring. And it's only march.

Getting old
It's weird how they can automatically detect how old I am (well at least detect that I'm older).
WHY!! DO I REALLY LOOK THAT OLD?!
Full fledged uni goer now. Don't ever want to go back to work now. Haha!

Devo
Well not really. They just stopped working. I'm usually really good at taking care of these.
Can't bear to fork out >$25 for any type of earphone. :( I can't believe people pay $1XX for those headsets. It's crazy D:
In other news, the downside to changing Uni's is having to do first year core subjects which did not exist at uts. Oh man, I pretty much have to do the elementary accounting subject (dr/cr). WHY DO SYDNEY BUSINESS HAVE A SEPARATE SUBJECT FOR EVERY LITTLE THING D: I died a little inside knowing that I'd have 2 first year subjects this sem. :(
On a brighter note, maybe I'll be invited to some wild 18 year old's birthday party. Lol.
