mishmash of thoughts.

Today was really weird (aside from the fact that we started work at 10 instead of 8.30).

I was talking to a person today and I swear, I've never been on the samer page with anyone else. It kinda felt like I was talking to me. During that whole time I was just thinking to myself - could this really be happening?

I am so amazed.

Anyway, on a different note. My friend at work who started approx the same time as me is leaving to munch on grass of greener pastures.

I want to find my greener pasture. But who knows, my current plot of land might vegetate and grow into luscious mounds of juicy grass shoots.

December is soon, but I've accomplished alot in the past few weeks. I got a christmas tree, I ... can't think of anything else. It'll come to me later on.

In the meanwhile, I'm just going to try to go to bed, and bathe my thoughts in Norah Jone's sweet, raspy, vast, layered voice.

It's a bad idea to have a party on Tuesday night

I was gonna leave at 10.30, but there was still noone on the dance floor. So I hung around for 5 minutes, but then 5 minutes flew by and the next thing I knew- it was past 12 and all my trains were gone.

Cabbed home with a few others. Late start to work tomorrow. Thank god.

Worst Tuesday ever. I have a headache already.

Another Christmas party next Friday. Learned my lesson.

Got interrupted. Mgr called to ask me where I was and if I wanted to share a taxi just then. Ahaha! They're at star city and still going.

Audit is the best during Christmas. More play less work.

Chillbangin' Thursday

Nearly the weekend guys!

Today was awesome. This week's been pretty awesome. I've been deprived again of my precious sleep ins, but still doesn't stop me from staying up late watching movies. I've been watching a movie every night from 12 just because the Internet is heaps faster.

This also doesn't affect my productiveness at work because I did a 5 day job in 3, and my reward was leaving early today! I headed to chatswood afterwork and explored for a bit before meeting up with A.

I had an extra hour to myself before meeting A so I though I'd give dress shopping a go. Skipped all the higher end stores because I was dressed pretty daggily today. Lol. Like a very un-ninja-ish turtle with my incredibly bloated backpack and chucks. Lol. In my work clothes =_=.

I changed shoes eventually because I knew I was being judged by these kids in uniforms D: walked into Glassons and BOOM!
Found a pleated dress. Tick.
It is black and was sitting in the "sale 50% off" section. Tick.
It was in size 8- fitted well. Tick.
Took it to the counter, the SA charged me $12.50 for it. BOOMTICK!

(tick reference to do with infamous email being circulated in cyberspace. <3 nick cannon. Alpha male. Loool.)

Met up with A and explored DAISO! I've been pretty curious of this place since one of my colleagues started using a Daiso iPhone charger. For those who don't know what Daiso is, it's pretty much a chain discount store in Japan. Cheap goods. It sells absolutely everything. Everything is listed as $2.80 - even pots, pans and headphones (headphones are pretty good and comparable to the TDK ones rrp $19.95).

I bought a few things today, but my favourite by far is my new Christmas tree. IT'S A COLLAPSABLE SPRING! What a genius idea.

Had dinner at East West, pretty good but um too heavy with the garlic. I feel... Garlicky again. Ewie.

Anyway, office tomorrow! Hurrah! Catching up with a few uni folk afterwork so I guess it will be a nice start to the weekend. I've set 3 alarms to make sure I don't get to work late tomorrow. I want to get the best seat and a boost before I start work :)

Hypocrisy :(

I always bitch about people who wear joggers to work because it looks awful. I always sport a pair of flats for the commute and change into heels or something at work, but yesterday the soles of my flats came loose from being absolutely soaked in the rain :(

These old fake chucks could use a wash. And they're so comfy :)
