Amazing Race

Righteo. This week I've been going to training with the grads and cadets at work (btw, this reminds me. Applications for cadetships will be released online soon so if interested start looking/planning).  Today, one of our activities was a team building event- the Amazing Race.  I think I can sum it up in a few quick bullet points. (It is nearly 12 and way past my new bedtime. lol)

  • From CQ we ran to the Harbour Bridge and sprinted up the stairs to Pylon lookout. When we thought we finally came to the end, we were greeted with more stairs. At this point, many people from our team decided to slack off and so myself and someone else were left to do the rest of the sprinting. When we reached the top we had to do one of those "find Bin Laden" picture puzzles. :S So weird.
  • Had to find a woman in a beige jacket, jeans and black boots "within the walls of the QVB". This was hilarious. There were quite a few women who fit the profile. I felt bad for harassing the ones who were wearing the wrong clothes at the wrongtime. :(
  • Running back to the training centre, finding out we were first to arrive having completed all the tasks, but to have come SECOND?! lol
There was alot more than that, but I want to think about something else that will distract me from the pain I have in my legs. I did SO much running around today. The bridge, Museum, Town Hall, The Domain. Geez. I know the city like the back of my hand now.

Moving onto something else, if I pass probation this week, I'll be on my way to Canberra on Monday morning for some work. It will be quite an experience. I've never been on a domestic flight before. But I hope alot of these will come my way. I just wish it was Melbourne instead. :) But yes, I hope that does answer some questions you guys might have. :S I think I caused alot of confusion on facebook because my messages on fb are taken out of context, etc.

What else... This week has been filled with ups and downs.  :S At the moment I just feel PAINED. Physically. I can't do this. I'm too old for this shit stuff.

Have a nice week guys =) The weekend is coming soon.

BTW. Weenz uses fb now. LOL

WOW! That sounds like so much fun! CANBERRA!! Belle's first business trip :)

Haha, I'm still finishing off my powerpoint presentation for my school visit later on in the month.

By the way I can't make the ICAA evening, our manager said there are already too many people >:( unless someone falls ill which I'm secretly someone does.

But if I can't come, meet up for dinner after? My fin. lecture finishes at 7:30-8.
