first post for the year

Ok.

I'm 9 days late.

But I have an excuse.

I've been on holiday. Really. Enjoying the last few days of bliss before the hellish busy season at work commences.

And, I am running out of time. In about 6 hours, my first alarm will go off and my day will officially begin.

But I will be happy.

Happy knowing that I have bough pre-season tickets to see Love Never Dies at Capitol Theatre on Wednesday night.

Yes, this Wednesday night.

2 musicals in 2 weeks? I think so!

But yeah, I'm freaking out about work.

Welcome back productivity!


PS. Weird-ish thought: Got an invite for a friend's 21st. I'm honoured because I haven't seen her in years (4 to be precise), and she's only invited her "close" buds. Yeaah, I don't know if I've accidentally been invited, because if I turned up, that'd be weird. :/  Ok. Enough of my third world problems.

Perfect summer day at Coogee :)

If you're at Coogee, hit up Melonhead and order a Mango Tango. This fruit crush was the bomb!

Seafood Paella. Can't believe this, but we didn't look at the restaurant's name. It looked like a cafe, and we just went in. :/

BBQ platter ($18 pp LARGE SERVINGS - better than Churrasco!) at the aforementioned place.

Streaky sunburn - the tan from this is HORRENDOUS. NO JOKE. ITS SO BAD.

Band-aid tan. All in the name of skin safety.

 And I'll leave you with a pic of a happy flower I found in my front yard one day. I'm glad I snapped a shot, because when I came home that same day, it was GONE. M snipped it off and put it in a glass of water. It wilted and died by evening :(
