What happened today? No mourning class. JOY JOY, I slept until 9.30 FREEFREE, but got to school a bit late (bio ==) and we went through the basic stuff regarding PFAs in the Search for Better Health. I never realised how short this topic actually was. =.= But nonetheless, still shatloads to revise. Alot of people think biology is ALL about rote learning. I beg to differ. There are concepts that exist; and when understood, don't need much "rote" learning. :/ Humdiho. Sort of like economics. But I'm really bad at grasping onto concepts and I take freaking ages to learn.

Happy Birthday to Aryan today! Hope you had a really nice 09/09/09 (oh to Callum too). I saw the prince today walking around blindly, hands outstretched ready to bump into something XD Toobad it'll be my turn tomorrow. With my disgustingly myopic eyes and freaking disastrous astigmatised eyes, I bet I won't recover for a couple of days. *sigh* Also not looking forward to the body fat measurements.

:( Skinny people are amongst the most unhealthy too youknow. ;D I'm not made of muscle- I wish. Being ignorant about your own body composition is bliss I think. Sometimes it's better not to know.
Anyway, speaking of muscle, today Dan and someone had an arm wrestle match. Someone who was there, who was the first guy to verse Dan?
Needless to say, Dan lost. XD and then Peter challenged Dan, probably making his day worse- and won too easily. Sandy has video footage if anyone is interested in watching.

I keep craving Japanese cuisine. Next time I'm in the city (hopefully this weekend!), my dad will let us eat at Gumshara Ramen instead of Superbowl. :) Apparently Gumshara Ramen is REALLY good, and I've never noticed it. Honestly, I thought all t he foodcourt restaurants in the underground foodcourt (off factory st) were really crap. Bah humbug.
Last night, during dinner, the topic of my birthday was brought up by my mum when I was talking about Tetsuya's. :O She said that we should all go there to celebrate my birthday.

But now, the more I think about it, the more conscious I am of the cost. Don't mistaken this as being stingy or w/e (it's not my money), but eating there, will cost about $400 for 4 people I think. Think of what you can buy for $400? Sure the quality is great- but I'm sure other respectable restaurants will also have a very nice menu for less.
So today I talked to my mum about this.
B: too expensive mum :/ lets go some place else
M: Didn't expect this from a greedypig like you.
pause, just because I like food, it doesn't make me greedy. T_T; It just means I like to TASTE and SAVOUR the FLAVOUR, D: I don't hog plates and lick bowls! unpause

*jaw drop* wow, tetsuya sounds so posh...theres plenty of awesome jap restaurants around capitol theatre, all of them are really good [and for a family of 4 <100 =D]

Well my Chem teacher, who has taught basically all of the HSC sciences (mostly old course) said that Bio is really just rote learning. My peers seem to agree aswell, haha.

@details: this restaurant wasn't as expensive as I expected HOWEVER, do not expect to be full after 1 main. XD Dessert might fill you up though. Esp the brie. Gosh one mouthful of that stuff and *tummy explosion*

Haha yeah truffles are apparently very expensive. They tasted strange. I WAS SUPRISED because I thought it was supposed to taste like chocolate. XDXD

Haha. After tuition (yes, on my bday xD) I saw a friend who's shirt was white, and the reflection was SUCH a shock I jumped.. But, I'm fine now, I think there's a psychological aspect to people who still have problems 2 days after :P
