Saturday mornings are usually a major rush - but on the weekend, I managed to make my way into the city without too much hassle. Took a stroll through the park and realised that Camperdown is actually a really lovely place. There are always people walking their dogs - it's tranquil, but also a very close to the city.
Park where the dogs are PLENTIFUL!
After we disbanded, I met up with an army of hungry people and ventured to the Fish Markets.
look at these badboys
We bought some fruit and ventured back to C's abode to chill down and bake bagels :)
my definition of "chilling down"
DID YOU KNOW YOU HAD TO BOIL BAGELS? I did not. I also have no idea why our bagels turned out looking so uneven and rough looking ;D Each one had so much character.

N2 are doing a halloween special for those who are interested. They've got some pretty creepy decor up. I follow the boss on instagram so I've been keeping up with the decorations development. It's pretty nasty... but somewhat intriguing?
dolls are creepy enough as themselves :/
Digressing, LESS THAN A MONTH UNTIL I JET OFF. I am kinda sad to leave the country so soon, but also friggin' excited to be going some place I've never been before. Time to chase the New York food trucks. yay :)
Hope everyone had a happy Monday and good luck to all those doing exams! With our exams nearing, I expect my blog posting frequency to go up. xP sad times.
7 screams of joy:
One of my childhood friends works at N2 and his job looks like so much fun. I have been super jealous seeing his fb pics update daily.
What is up with these creepy bus guys >=( Saw this Chinese international student in the corner at uni tonight with notes spread all over the floor wanking furiously. It's a public learning centre that has a ton of ppl as exams draw closer =.="
omg @ both those things.
A friend's friend works there too and the boss seems to be a pretty cool guy. Wouldn't mind working there myself actually. :D
And ughUGHughUGHGUHGHGGFHFHFGGU gross. Why was he so shameless D: D: D:
(btw, hi jason!)
Wow, you're back in Chinese school again?
Hopefully all this hurricane stuff will be over by the time you get here :)

@Jos: yep. I decided that I needed to learn to communicate in mandarin. Signed up with CCE at uni :D
A few hours ago, I was researching whether the hurricane will affect exchange rates. I still haven't converted my moolah yet!
I feel like any natural disaster will generally make investors more conservative, and hence our exchange rate will worsen. But right now Wall St is closed, so I'm guessing that there's lots of international trade going on right now.
Citibank Plus Visa Debit FTW. All the other travel cards have ridiculous spreads/commissions. Such a good card for shopping in USD and for use here. (all in AUD, Visa conversion rates, no commission)
thanks for the tip!! checking out citibank right now!!
